The Ten Commandmeants P.II The Name of God

<img src="http://iwcvisionpodcast.podOmatic.com/mymedia/thumb/1065138/0x0_799933.gif" alt="itunes pic" /><br />Most of us know the third Commandmeant from the King James version:
"Thou shall not take the name of the Lord thy God in Vain". We usally consider it a commandmeant against bad language, cursing, swearing and profanity.
The word vanity appears a lot in the bible, used often in the Old Testament, it means "to empty of content, or to make irrelevant". This is what the third commandmeant is all about, emptying Gods name of significance, and making it irrelevant, identifying God as something He is not!
Exodus 20:7 Thou shall not take the name of the Lord in vain!
